TANGAIL - President Md. Abdul Hamid today urged the young generation, especially the student community, to move forward upholding the spirit of communal harmony.
"Young generation has to know the glorious history of the Liberation War. You have to know the past where are the roots of Bengails. I believe that the young generation will go ahead upholding the spirit of communal harmony," he said while addressing the second convocation of Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University (MBSTU) on its campus here.

Congratulating the graduates, the President, also the chancellor of the university, said, "Now you are graduates, valuable human resource of the country. For this reason your responsibility towards your family, society, country, nation and the world humanity has been increased further".
"So you have some responsibility to them. You are indebted to them. This debt will be repaid to some extent if you work for the welfare of the country with your knowledge and merit," he added.
