President Md. Abdul Hamid reached London on Sunday for medical check-up.
A flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the President landed at Heathrow Airport at around 3.30 pm (local time).
The President was received by Acting High Commissioner of Bangladesh to the United Kingdom (UK) Khondker M Talha at the airport.
Earlier, President Hamid left Dhaka for London at 10.30 am on Sunday morning.
Agriculture Minister Matia Chowdhury, Liberation Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Huq, Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali and high civil and military officials saw him off at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
Abdul Hamid will undergo medical checkup at Moorfield Eye Hospital and Bupa Cromwell Hospital.
He is likely to return home on September 4.
